Grace Hubley - House & Grounds

House & Grounds

The Hubley House & Grounds represent the coming together of homesteading, fruit farming and photography in a rural area of California’s Gold Country.

The Victorian farmhouse & grounds are in need of restoration before it can be opened to the public.  This work is overseen by the Gertrude Paul volunteers.

The restoration project has reached the $110,000 mark with repairs to the house.

New work in the grounds include the rebuilding of both grape pergolas and the planting of Arizona cypress, Deodora cedar and redwood trees.

Most recently $10,000 was spent to re-route water run-off and repair and re-grade the driveway which was damaged during the heavy rain season.

There is more restoration work planned.
